For 2012, the custom program allows you to personalize your Victory Cross Roads touring motorcycle 48 different ways, right at the dealer, right when you buy it. Order, customize, drive - no waiting, no worries.

You get to pick your color, saddlebag style, windshield style and tip over protection - there's over 48 different customization combinations for these touring motorcycles. You don't waste time waiting for parts to be delivered, or wasted stock parts that you just remove once you get the bike. You'll be out on the road enjoying the power and customized style of your Victory Cross Roads before you even realize it.

The Cross Roads touring motorcycle looks just how you want it - but it performs just like a Victory. That means you get the benefit of world-class performance wrapped in a custom shell. The Freedom 106 V-Twin engine that produces a road walloping 97 horsepower is still inside, no matter what color you chose. We don't offer hot pink, but if we did, this bike has the muscle to back it up.

Choose the Cross bikes for traditional styling with the modern technology only Victory brings to riding enthusiasts. It starts with the 106 cu. in Freedom V-Twin with power and torque for exhilarating speed at the twist of the wrist. With a 6-speed overdrive transmission these bikes have the long legs for all-day cruising.

Our all-aluminum backbone frame provides light low-speed handling and impressive stability in corners and at speed. Combined with a range of windshields and storage choices and you have a bagger for everyone who wants to travel in style and comfort.

NEW TRUNK FOR VICTORY CROSS COUNTRY/CROSS ROADS

Touring riders can put away their tools. The new Lock & Ride® Trunk from Pure Victory can be installed on a Cross Country or Cross Roads in seconds, and removed just as quickly - without tools.

To install a trunk, a rider simply aligns the trunk mounting legs with mounting points at the rear of the bike and snaps down the locking arm. The trunk's power cord connects easily to the bike's electrical system to power the taillight at the rear of the trunk lid, the audio speakers and the accessory power outlet inside the trunk. To remove the trunk, simply reverse the process. When the trunk is on the bike, a locking pin can be added for theft prevention and additional peace of mind.

• The trunk has more than enough room for two full-face helmets.
• The trunk lid seals securely, is lockable and provides the bike with a high-mounted taillight.
• The front face of the trunk has a comfortable, padded passenger backrest and dual audio speakers.
• Each 2011 Cross Country and Cross Roads comes with a spare lock cylinder so a trunk can be locked with the bike's ignition key.
• Trunk-related accessories available from Pure Victory include: Passenger Armrests, Trunk Luggage
Rack (mounts atop lid), and Trunk Liner

PROVEN OUTSTANDING RELIABILITY

ENHANCED INSTRUMENTATION

All cruisers now have instrumentation similar to that of the Victory Cross Roads, which provides a rider with a wealth of information in one, easy-to-read location. The new instrumentation includes:

• An analog speedometer, which may be set to show MPH or KPH.
• Blue backlighting.
• A large LCD that displays: Clock (time of day is viewable at all times), gear position, tachometer and diagnostic readouts for Victory dealership service technicians.
• The gauge face includes lights such as high-beam and neutral indicators and the oil warning light. Cruisers no longer have these indicator lights atop the triple clamps.
• The Cross Roads instrumentation also has an always-viewable fuel gauge.

• All left- and right-hand switch cubes are black, as are the audio control switch block and cruise control switch block.

Need a Florida Motorcycle Accident Lawyer and looking for an ethical, experienced and aggressive lawyer to figure out if you may be entitled to money compensation for your serious injury?

In Florida, motorcycle accidents happen mostly because automobile drivers do not share the road. I frequently represent seriously injured motorcycle riders because a car fails to see the motorcycle and then the car pulls out into the intersection. Another common reason is that the car driver changes lanes without looking. The most frequent injuries are fractures of shoulder or wrists from going over the handlebars, or femur (long bone of the leg) fractures from laying the bike down or a side impact. Unfortunately, even at slower speeds and with a helmet, I have represented the family of fathers and sons who have died in motorcycle crashes.

As a Florida Motorcycle accident lawyer, I understand that you may want to express you individuality and freedom on the road by making the decision as an adult not to wear a helmet. The insurance company in a brain injury case will argue that you are the cause of your own injury being worse because if you were wearing a helmet the injury would not have been so bad.

I retain experts in biomechanics, who are engineers and if the evidence is available and in your favor, they can calculate the force of the impact and tell the insurance company that they are wrong. That wearing a helmet would not have made a difference. A helmet sometimes can actually make the injury worse. I am not advocating that you should not wear a helmet , it's just that wearing one does not always make a difference. It depends on the accident circumstances. Each Florida Motorcycle Accident claim will get my personal attention to detail and my 30 years of experience.

If you would like to consult for free with a Florida civil trial lawyer who is board certified as an expert in civil trial then please call 888-446-1999

There will be no charge for lawyer fees of representation or costs of representation if there is not money compensation recovery.

2012 Victory Cross Country Tour Features and Benefits

106 CUBIC-INCH FREEDOM V-TWIN
At the heart of the Cross Country Tour sits the Freedom V-Twin power plant, expertly balanced for the perfectly controlled explosions that deliver 97 horsepower and 113 ft lbs of hole shot torque. Maestro of the motorcycle world, it's what keeps man, machine and highway working together in perfect harmony.

6-SPEED OVERDRIVE TRANSMISSION
The highest performing transmission on the road receives the power generated by the massive V-twin and seamlessly turns it into something you can use. Neutral Selection Assist and helical-cut gears ensure every shift is as quiet and smooth as the one before it.

ABS BRAKES
Standard on the Cross Country Tour, the Victory Anti-Lock Brake System doesn't discriminate between dry, wet or rock-strewn pavement. No matter what the conditions, ABS monitors what the wheel is doing and gives you consistent, smooth braking from the handlebar lever down to the rubber on the road.

VICTORY COMFORT CONTROL SYSTEM
Since Mother Nature seldom listens to the weather requests of motorcycle enthusiasts, we've taken means to accommodate her. Down below the knees, we've given the Cross Country Tour dual fairing vents (as well as a storage box). Close 'em for complete protection in cold or rain, open 'em wide when the weather's more agreeable.

CRUISE CONTROL
After making every other aspect of going the distance as effortless as possible, the throttle hand still had a beef about being overworked. By adding precise, automotive-style cruise control, the right mitt can now simply hang on and enjoy the ride.

4.7 INCHES OF REAR SUSPENSION TRAVEL
Just in case the open road gets too lonely the class-leading rear suspension features an easily adjusted air shock and coil spring, ensuring a smooth ride for you and any adventure seeking passenger.

TOTAL STORAGE
Add up lower faring space, trunk and saddlebags and you get an amazing, best-in-class 41.1 gallons of storage space.

SADDLEBAG AND RAILS
With lockable latches and 21.3-gallon capacity, the Cross Country Tour can protect from theft and accomodate a passenger that doesn't follow the "travel lightly" rule. Exquisitely designed chrome rails provide style as well as tip-over insurance that you'll be grateful for when your brother-in-law asks to ride.

HEATED SEATS AND GRIPS
The Cross Country Tour lacks for nothing in the comfort category, and as proof we offer up heated seats and handgrips as exhibit A. Together they offer the best means of enhancing your road warrior reputation by adding precious road time to both sides of summer.

TALL WINDSHIELD
To maximize comfort, we've raised the windshield, resulting in reduced buffeting and increased wind and rain protection.

26.25" SEAT HEIGHT
Rule of the road: the lower the seat height, the more control. The Cross Country Tour has the lowest seat in its class. Unless you admit having the toe strength of a ballerina, you want to be able to plant both feet firmly on the ground.

HID LIGHTING
A machine that looks this good deserves to be seen. The High Intensity Discharge headlamp shines four times brighter than standard halogen headlamps and shouts 'HERE I COME' four times louder. Since it also lasts 10 times longer, you can see your way ocean to ocean with every mile marker perfectly illuminated.

ADJUSTABLE PASSENGER FLOORBOARDS
When the passenger floorboards are easily adjustable, any height passenger can find comfort. That's the long and short of it.

12V SOCKET
Power from the engine can now be sipped to charge phones, cameras, or anything that uses a 12v socket. Sometime during your long distance cruise you may need to call in support for that rider stranded with a lesser motorcycle.

The low 25.2" seat height works in tandem with the pulled-back handlebars to ensure a firm sense of mastery over the machine. Combine that with a more rearward placement of the foot controls and you have a rider who stays comfortable from A to B and all the way to Z.

BLACKED OUT PIPES AND HEADLIGHT
Leave it up to the Vegas 8-Ball to take you where no bike has gone before. Blacked out pipes and black bullet headlight take you to the dark side, which leads to the kind of performance that has every other motorcycle scurrying for the light.

BLACK STINGRAY WHEELS
The Vegas 8-Ball's high contrast wheels complement the bike's black styling and deliver smooth, reliable performance. At speed they become fully reminiscent of a storm cloud coming on fast.

STREAMLINED SOLO SEAT
What's good for the rider also happens to be good for the bike. The Vegas 8-Ball's low seat provides a comfortable riding position but also complements the smooth, low profile of the machine.

2012 Victory Cross Country Review

Performance, check. Comfort, check. Styling, check.

Bold road warrior, this bagger is ready for the long haul.

Victory has a track record of consistently outstanding reliability and dependability, which has led to the industry's highest customer satisfaction ratings. This proven reliability, along with the new transmission design, allows Victory to recommend extended oil service intervals for 2011 drivetrains.

• The recommended oil change interval for 2011 models is every 5,000 miles (8,000 km).
• Less-frequent oil changes results in a lower cost of ownership.

NEW TRANSMISSION

The Victory drivetrain team scrutinized every component of the engine and transmission and fine-tuned the designs and performance of numerous parts. Approximately 40% of the drivetrain is new for 2011, with the transmission receiving so many improvements it is virtually a new transmission.

The changes: improved manufacturing efficiency and quality assurance; enhanced drivetrain's already-impressive reliability; improved engine performance; and, for riders, improved ridability and delivered a more appealing-sounding transmission.

• In terms of operating sound, selected modulation frequencies have been eliminated. This produces a more-appealing sound - consistently in each gear. In 4th and 6th gears in particular, gear whine has been reduced.
• Driveline lash has been reduced by 66%.
• "Neutral Assist" has been added to make it easier for a rider to shift into neutral when stopped. This will reduce the rider's effort, will reduce clutch wear and will lessen the performance demands on the oil.

ENHANCED INSTRUMENTATION

All cruisers now have instrumentation similar to that of the Victory Cross Roads, which provides a rider with a wealth of information in one, easy-to-read location. The new instrumentation includes:

• An analog speedometer, which may be set to show MPH or KPH.
oBlue backlighting.

CHASSIS CHANGES ACROSS THE LINEUP

All brake calipers, rotors, lower belt guards, and floorboards are black.

• All left- and right-hand switch cubes are black, as are the audio control switch block and cruise control switch block.
• The triple clamp is black on all models except the Vegas Jackpot (which retains its chrome triple), and the Victory Cross Roads (which retains its brushed finish).
• A new side stand on each model features an integrated hooked-end design for easy locating and easy control of the side stand.
• All cruiser exhausts have a larger outlet for improved sound quality and a lower exhaust note.

VICTORY CROSS ROADS

The Victory Cross Roads is an extremely smooth, powerful and comfortable touring model. Multiple options allow the rider to tailor this motorcycle for any type of touring.

All Victory Cross Roads Series Models Features

• Strong, innovative two-piece, sand-cast hollow aluminum frame.
• Air-adjust rear suspension with 4.7 inches/120 mm of rear travel.

• Instrumentation includes analog speedometer, fuel gauge, odometer, trip meter, and indicator lights.

2012 Victory Cross Country Features and Benefits

106 CUBIC-INCH FREEDOM V-TWIN
At the heart of the Cross Country sits the Freedom V-Twin power plant, expertly balanced for the perfectly controlled explosions that deliver 97 horsepower and 113 ft lbs of hole shot torque.

ABS BRAKES
Standard on the Cross Country, the Victory Anti-Lock Brake System doesn't discriminate between dry, wet or rock-strewn pavement. No matter what the conditions, ABS monitors what the wheel is doing and gives you consistent, smooth braking from the handlebar lever down to the rubber on the road.

CRUISE CONTROL
After making every other aspect of going the distance as effortless as possible, the throttle hand still had a beef about being overworked. By adding precise, automotive-style cruise control, the right mitt can now simply hang on and enjoy the ride.

560 LB TOTAL LOAD CAPACITY
Ideal for both 2-up or solo riding, the Cross Country weighs in as the packhorse of the touring line. But don't be fooled by its 560 lb load capacity. A rigid reinforced frame, adjustable rear air suspension and 96 hp V-Twin allow it to prance as lightly as any sure-footed thoroughbred.

21-GALLON STORAGE
Saddlebags constructed of sturdy glass-filled nylon offer plenty of room to include the stuff that long hauls are made of. Lockable latches make sure that stuff stays on the bike you while you're off having lunch.

4.7 INCHES OF REAR SUSPENSION TRAVEL
Just in case the open road gets too lonely, the class-leading rear suspension features an easily adjusted air shock and coil spring, ensuring a smooth ride for you and any adventure seeking passenger.

OPTIONAL LOCK & RIDE TRUNK
If you can't stand leaving all your worldly possessions behind, the optional roomy, protective trunk installs in seconds without the need for tools. The trunk also doubles as a comfortable backrest for your significant other.

MP3 COMPATIBLE AM/FM TWO-SPEAKER STEREO
There are times when the Freedom V-Twin's dulcet toned pipes prefer not playing solo. With a high-quality mp3 player/radio embedded in the fairing, you can have your own rolling roadhouse hoedown. It's just one more way to let freedom ring.

Low-down and beefy, it's got old-school chopper looks with the comfort of a modern ride

Re-introduced in 2010, the Dyna® Wide Glide® motorcycle is all about attitude. The Wide Glide® is raw and true to its roots with a chopped rear fender, black rims on 40-spoke laced wheels, a black tank console, “Tommy Gun” exhaust, beefy, raked-out forks and a swept back sissy bar. Throw in the old-school flame paint scheme and heads are sure to turn. The lowered suspension, internally-wired handlebar with 4-inch riser and forward foot controls offer an awesome ride and the sticker price provides amazing value.

2012 Harley-Davidson FXS Softail Blackline Review

Long. Low. No BS. This Dark Custom leader is a minimalist throwback icon for today's freedom seekers

The Blackline is a Harley-Davidson Softail pared to the bone with visual elements of the original bobber movement combined with a raw style embraced by today's young bike builders. The rear fender is bobbed high-and-tight over a slim, 144 mm tire that emphasizes an authentic hardtail profile. The Softail rear suspension mimics the clean lines of a vintage hardtail frame but offers the comfort of a modern suspension that is hidden under the chassis. The rider hugs the frame on the lowest two-up seat offered by Harley-Davidson, while reaching high for the new Split Drag handlebar. The rigid powertrain allows tight packaging of the engine and frame to create a solid connection between the rider and the power that moves the Blackline.

HIDDEN REAR SHOCKS

If you want a comfortable ride but love that rigid-suspension look, you've found the right bike. We've kept all the modern comforts where they belong—below the surface of a rad, vintage-looking bike. You get the classic lines of a vintage 'hardtail' frame with the horizontal rear shocks hidden in the guts. It's a signature Harley-Davidson rigid look that you won't find with most other bikes.

PREMIUM PAINT

Up to two times thicker than the competition, custom quality paint comes standard on all Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. Clearcoat layering up to five mils deep. Bigger metal flakes. Unique effects. Skimping simply is not in our vocabulary.

HAND FINISHED FUEL TANK

All Harley-Davidson® fuel tanks are finished by hand—that's what makes them stand out. Their seamless design and unmatched style are unique among all motorcycles on the road. The tanks are one of the first and last things people notice when they lay their eyes on a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle—so we make it worth their time.

MINIMALIST LONG CUSTOM STYLING

Blackline's clean look, simplified profile, and defiant attitude embrace the pure essence of riding. The minimal tank graphics, split drag bars and narrow backend allow the Twin Cam 103 V-Twin engine and fuel tank to steal the show. Blackline is a modern metal machine built for freedom seekers who just want to get on and go.

SPLIT DRAG™ HANDLEBAR WITH SLAMMED SPEEDO

The split drag style handlebar with slammed speedo bolted right to the triple clamp adds to the minimalist, low profile appearance of Blackline. Inspired by the way hot rodders and custom pioneers used to slam their rides, the drag style handlebar is an old school garage feature that demands a forward, aggressive riding position.

BLACK SMOOTHIE RIMS

Raw, gritty and no-nonsense—Blackline features black laced wheels with a large 21-inch wheel up front for a quintessential long custom look. In back, the gloss black smoothie rim is wrapped with a 144mm rear tire, creating a narrow profile for a contemporary style.

SIX-SPEED CRUISE DRIVE®

You want a ride that rumbles—not begs for mercy—when you lean on it a little. The Six-Speed Cruise Drive® transmission provides smooth, quiet shifting and reduces engine speed on the highway, so you get a better match between engine turnover and road speed. It's a rare ride when a bike responds like this, and a low growl goes a long way when you're opening up the road ahead.

TWIN CAM 103™ ENGINE POWER

New for 2012: live your ride to the power of 103. The air cooled Twin Cam 103™ Harley Davidson® engine delivers more stump pulling torque, while its Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection jetting gives crisp, lively throttle reaction. It’s a performance punch that you’ll appreciate when passing, climbing hills, or rolling with luggage packed or a passenger in back—all under that signature Motor Company rumble. And it comes at lower cruising rpm, so you ride more smoothly, with less engine vibration and better highway fuel economy.

TWIN CAM 103™ ENGINE HERITAGE

The knowledge of what makes an engine truly move a rider runs deep at The Motor Company, and it was put to good use when we created the Twin Cam 103™; engine. We sweated bullets perfecting every cubic inch, pushing design and technology forward. And we did it all without compromising one bit of Harley-Davidson's unique styling. Evolved, yet carrying on the legacy of the Flathead, Knucklehead, Panhead, Shovelhead, Evolution®, Twin Cam 88®; and Twin Cam 96™ engines that came before. The performance and durability are a direct result of the untold miles logged on the V-Twin since 1909, and the proud heritage that comes from a century's worth of commitment to life on two wheels.

TWIN CAM 103™ ENGINE INNOVATION

Fire up the Twin Cam 103™ engine and feel the low-end torque unleashed. Thanks to the lightweight piston design, delivery of the added power is more refined than ever. Then put your foot on the shifter and feel how the engine and Six-Speed Cruise Drive® transmission were designed to work together. Six speeds. A strong driveline and strong internal parts. Low routine maintenance. And a low cruising rpm couldn't feel better.

PURE HARLEY-DAVIDSON STYLING

Feast your eyes on the Twin Cam 103™ engine and there's no mistaking its roots. This is authentic Harley-Davidson style through and through with an attention to detail you won't find from any other motorcycle company. Grey powder coated heads and black powder-coated cylinders are highlighted by machined cooling fin tips and black rocker covers and an old school round air cleaner cover for a tough vintage Harley-Davidson attitude. It's a jewel machined out of metal. Pure. Dripping with power. From the classic edge of the cooling fins to the clean lines of cases and covers—the Twin Cam 103™ engine makes an ironclad statement about holding on to what's right and staying true to what satisfies.

H-D® SMART SECURITY SYSTEM (OPTIONAL)

The factory installed next-generation security system features a hands-free fob that automatically arms and disarms the vehicle electronic security functions as you approach and walk away from the bike. Stick the fob on your ignition key ring and let it do all the work. It's this attention to details and security that make Harley-Davidson® motorcycles unique.

ARTFULLY HIDDEN TECHNOLOGY

Harley-Davidson leverages the latest in technology without compromising style and function. That means we hide electronics. The whole wiring harness is skillfully routed behind the jewels of the bike—the tank, engine and all the other eye-popping features you want to see. It's just another way The Motor Company goes the extra mile to give its bikes that premium, top-of-the-line fit and finish.

INTUITIVE CONTROLS

Hand controls on a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle are incredibly intuitive. The turn signals are self-canceling and, based on the speed and angle of the motorcycle, they know how long to stay on. Engaging the controls quickly becomes second nature so you can focus less on turning off your signal and more on basking in the freedom of the ride.

ANTI-LOCK BRAKES (OPTIONAL)

When it comes to Blackline with optional ABS, 'stopping power' has a double meaning. We've kept most of its ABS components tastefully hidden, so you'll still turn heads with clean, streamlined design. More importantly, though, you get certainty in the saddle knowing your bike's going to behave when you need it.

DUNLOP® TIRES

Whether you're crossing state lines or staying within city limits, you want sure contact with the road. The front end holds a premium touring tire with a three-ply polyester casing and two fiberglass belts. The back cruiser tire has an advanced tread pattern. Made from a specifically formulated compound, it delivers outstanding grip in wet or dry weather. And since they're from Dunlop®, you know you're wrapping your premium rollers in quality rubber.

TUNED TO BE RIDDEN

Harley-Davidson® motorcycles are different from any other bike out on the road. There's a balance to them. The steering, the maneuverability—it's all in concert. And each Harley-Davidson® model is tuned differently to create a unique riding experience for each individual no matter which bike they swing their leg over. Let's face it, we didn't get to where we are by being like everyone else.

ENGINE IDLE TEMPERATURE MANAGEMENT STRATEGY

Our motorcycles are built to be ridden. A lot. So that means that rider comfort is top of mind. Always. With the Engine Idle Temperature Management Strategy (EITMS) feature, the motorcycle automatically cuts fuel and fire from the rear cylinder when idling, which helps reduce engine heat felt by rider and passenger. This feature can easily be turned on by your dealer.

SEAT ENGINEERING AND DESIGN

The seat is home for Harley-Davidson® motorcycle riders. They want a seat that has unique style without sacrificing comfort. Because of that, Harley-Davidson invests a lot of time in researching, designing and testing seats so that every bike has just the right saddle.

FORWARD-MOUNTED CONTROLS

With the custom forward-mounted controls on the Blackline motorcycle, you can kick back a little and stretch your legs for the ultimate cruise through town or across the state line. It's time to take in the open road the way you were meant to—on a two-wheeled machine that keeps it as real as you do.

LOW TWO-UP SEAT

Slung low at 24 inches from the road, the two-up custom seat slams you deep in the saddle of a machine that's easy to maneuver and keeps your feet close to the ground. And it's done without sacrificing the aggressive profile riding position you want in a long custom bike.

AGGRESSIVE RIDING POSITION

Right out of the gate, Blackline puts you in position to look and feel confident in the saddle. With split drag bars, forward foot controls and a low-slung seat, you sit in an aggressive riding position that makes navigating the streets a cinch. Plus, you're sure to steal the glance of envious onlookers everywhere you roll.
