Harley Davidson FLSTSB Softail Cross Bones (2009)

If riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle is a timeless experience, then the new FLSTSB Softail Cross Bones almost makes the clock stand still. The dark Cross Bones cuts the profile of an authentic custom bobber, a stripped-down-and-chopped custom with raw finishes. Cross Bones leads with the Gloss Black Springer front end and follows with other post-war styling cues, including a Gloss-Black round air cleaner cover, sprung solo seat, half-moon rider footboards and chopped front fender. The adjustable two-position pan-style saddle rides at a height of 26.6 inches. The rider rolls arm-high gripping Gloss Black mini ape hanger handlebars. The Gloss Black oil tank features a new Willie G.-autographed skull graphic. The bright chrome straight shot exhaust with chrome slash-cut mufflers contrasts with the dark frame and powertrain.

Kawasaki ZZR 1200 (2004) Review and Specifications.

- This bike is fast by any standard with breathtaking acceleration.
- It handles very well, and feels solidly planted all the time. It is a very stable bike.
- The bike looks great. One of the better styling jobs by Kawasaki.
- The acceleration is linear, and the engine doesn't need to be revved that high to get this bike moving.
- You can cruise at 90+ all day long on this bike, and it's not even breaking a sweat.
- The wind protection is very good.
- The braking is very good.
- Reliability is excellent.
- This is a sport tourer, however the emphasis is on the sport side.
- I've put about 20,000 miles on it, and I'm still very happy with it.
- Depending on you size, age, health etc. it will be comfortable or not.
- The stock seat is horrible for long rides.
- There is one known problem that many of these bikes had, and that is the cam lobes pit severely. Some owners have replaced the cams, others continued to ride without replacing them with no apparent failures or other ill affects.
- The bike is rather heavy and has a sizable wheel base.
- Gas mileage is typically around 42 MPG, assuming you're reasonably gentle with the throttle.

KAWASAKI ZZR 600 Motorcycle,
general information, review and specifications

KAWASAKI ZZR 600 (2004)
- The most popular category of sportbike in America is the 600cc class, thanks to the light weight, nimble handling and ever-improving power-to-weight ratio of these modern machines. And for those who want all these performance attributes in a sport touring motorcycle at a great price, nothing beats the Kawasaki ZZR®600 for power, handling and comfort -

The ZZR600 is powered by a compact 599cc liquid-cooled four-cylinder engine similar to the high-performance ZX-6R powerplant. Dual overhead cams actuate four extra-light valves per cylinder, and Kawasaki Straight-Shot ports combine with narrow valve systems to provide free-flowing intake for quick throttle response.

Intake efficiency is further enhanced by the Kawasaki Twin Ram Air Induction system. Scoops at the front of the fairing supply cool air directly to the airbox, and at highway speeds this becomes pressurized to help pack more fuel mixture from the 36mm Keihin carburetors into the cylinders. A digital ignition system ignites the mixture as its microprocessor-controlled timing is ultra-responsive to engine speed and the system never needs adjustment. Burned gasses exit the engine through twin mufflers for smooth power throughout the rev range.
